LOCO FRIDAYS AT THE LATIN QUARTER
There are different regular and irregular classes happening in Phnom Penh.

Beginners Level 1: (now every Tuesday at the Groove)
This basic class usually takes 4-6 weeks, is designed to lay down a strong foundation, for students who are new to Salsa. Here, we build from the ground up, ensuring that students develop a sound understanding of timing, basic footwork and partnering technique.
At the end of this course, you will be able to understand the salsa music and dance short and simple routines: Basic steps, turns, cross body lead, cross body lead with turns, copa, hammerlock.
Beginners Level 2: (coming soon)
On completion of level 1, you will now know the basic rhythm, steps and moves to salsa.
In this level you will start by learning some more interesting combination turn patterns, that involves leading and following, with good emphasis on basic techniques. The main concept of this course, is to learn different variations of basic moves and how to lead and follow it, using both of your hands and to the rhythm of the music.
Intermediate Level: (now every Friday at the Latin Quarter)
Completion of Level beginner 2 is a minimum requirement to enter this course or, an equivalent experience of Salsa Dancing.
You will become familiar with the more complex and challenging aspects of Salsa dancing. Timing and good understanding of the music is still a recurring theme at this level and this will enable you to feel more confident and relaxed when following more complicated turn patterns.
What to wear?
It’s important to feel comfortable and be able to move easily, so avoid floor length skirts or restrictive clothes. The teacher wants to see your beautiful feet!
